The ideal candidate is a seasoned manager with a multifunctional experience in different digital business. A background as a consultant could be a plus.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Sales Operations Director will focus on:
- Sales Strategy:
- Support the VP and the Sales Directors in the optimization of the team’s execution including the continuous assessment and fine-tuning of the current go-to-market strategy.
- Work to ensure all the organization goals are properly set, understood, communicated and assigned.
- Proactive monitoring and communication of all initiatives and developments that can impact sales to the management team and the KAM/AM.
- Analysis:
- Manage Forecasting, monthly and quarterly assessments, annual planning, quota distribution and other analytic activities.
- Proactive assessment of KPI to help to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and consistency in the organization’s sales efforts.
- Conduct market, territory and account-level analysis to delineate and match the business covered by the organization with the applicable resources.
- Effective Selling:
- Value proposition definition
- Sales Material
- Contracts, framework contracts and IO.
- Pricing policy across markets and channels
- Operational Sales management facilitation and continuous process improvement.
- People growth:
- Define onboarding, training and continuous enablement of new and existing account managers in the application of a state of the art sales methodology and the optimal use of resources and people at their disposal.
- Tools:
- Monitors and ensures the system infrastructure addresses the needs of the team and its business (our CRM platform is salesforc.com and is connected with SAP to run invoicing, Tableau is our BI platform)
Required Skills and Experience
He/she is should be:

- Work well with others: he/she will be interacting with many individuals from different organizations and backgrounds and cultures. He/she needs to be able to communicate with them clearly, effectively and in a collaborative way and always keep things positive and in perspective.
Qualifications:
- Relevant education Minimum Degree level business/finance/engineering
- 8-10 years of consultants or finance or sales operations experience.
- Track record in business transformation projects
- Strong business-to-business, analytical, financial and strategic thinking skills
- Metrics & results driven with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven process mapping, gap analysis, and business problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to leverage relationships to obtain information necessary to provide the team with the most current business information.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment & prioritize effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian. Ability to communicate at all level: senior managers, sales managers and account managers
- Candidate must be self-motivated, directed person, detail oriented with high learning agility
- Experience in international environment and multimarket and multiproduct companies.
