Core activities- Conduct fact-finding investigations of a documentary and economic-patrimonial nature aimed at identifying anomalous transactions and/or fraudulent activities (dissipation and misappropriation of funds, embezzlement, corruption, use of company assets for private gain) carried out by employees, suppliers, customers, agents, etc.;
- Conduct analyses aimed at identifying potential reputational risks for third parties (customers, suppliers, agents, etc.);
- Develop operational models for fraud risk detection and prevention
- Support in the preparation of technical reports, appraisals and technical consultancy for both the office and the parties;
- Aims to autonomously manage a project (analysis, deliverable, time and budget)
- Structures analyses to be carried out by less experienced team members and reviews the quality of the work performed, including for (technical) consistency and completeness
- Triangulation and cross-checking of information provided or calculations performed
- Identifies key issues arising during an engagement independently and develops his/her own solutions relating to main project issues or risks. Summarizes findings to director/partner
- Structures and drafts report sections and/or creates draft presentations
- Start managing client’s relationships and communications, including the manager / director or engagement partner
- Actively provides support in training of analysts on internal/external technical standards and industry developments
- Shows efficient organization when involved in two assignments
- Strong background in accounting and knowledge of business processes Advisory experience in forensic and litigation consulting firms or divisions (preferred but not essential)
- Oriented to identify potential risks across different sectors and organisations
- Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience in presenting the outcome of the analyses performed through client presentations and technical reports
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly the ability to summarise (fluency in other languages is also desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work independently, managing junior resources
- Self-confidence and humility: curious, enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (VBA and other programming skills are an advantage
