Software Platform Architect – Vehicle Software PlatformMain Job Responsibilities:
Define and document the overall platform architecture including software components, third‑party and data flows between ECUs, gateways, and central compute units.Define and drive the strategic vision and architectural roadmap for the Platform API domain within the automotive software platform, ensuring robust, scalable, and future‑ready in‑vehicle networking.Provide technical guidance and lead architectural decisions to ensure alignment with standards and best‑practices, feasibility of the solution, and achievement of long‑term goals.Collaborate with cross‑functional hardware, systems, and software teams to align architecture with hardware capabilities and vehicle requirements.Define KPIs for communication platform quality and performance, ensuring ongoing monitoring and improvement.Investigate technical problems and propose solutions.Review architecture implementations and coding best practices.Coordinate integration and testing activities and review integration and validation reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent.8+ years of experience designing and developing embedded software architecture.Knowledge of signal‑ and service‑oriented interface design.Experience with POSIX OS.Strong knowledge of in‑vehicle networking (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) including SOME‑IP.Experience with ECU internal communication (SPI, shared memory).Experience defining interfaces (signals/services), requirements, and architectural documentation.Cross‑functional leadership (systems/hardware/software) and design‑review ownership.
Preferred Qualifications:
Systems‑level understanding of vehicle functional domains and their constraints.Experience with gateways/protocol translation.Knowledge of ASPICE, V‑model.Experience with platform services such as time synchronization, cloud connectivity, and end‑to‑end protection.Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive).
Senior Hardware/Software Architect – Space Systems (Full Remote)Your role: Lead the end‑to‑end definition of complex architectures across onboard hardware, embedded software, avionics, payload interfaces, and ground connectivity, ensuring robust, high‑reliability solutions for mission‑critical space applications.Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain the overall hardware/software architecture for satellites, payloads, avionics platforms, and related space systems.Translate mission and customer requirements into architecture specifications, interface definitions, and design roadmaps.Lead trade‑off analyses across performance, power, mass, reliability, redundancy, radiation tolerance, and cost.Architect onboard computing platforms, embedded software stacks, FPGA/SoC solutions, and subsystem communication flows.Ensure consistency across hardware, firmware, software, middleware, and ground‑segment interfaces.Support modelling, simulation, prototyping, integration, and verification activities.Review ICDs, compliance matrices, verification plans, and technical documentation.Collaborate with systems, electronics, embedded software, AIV, mechanical, and mission‑operations teams.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the program lifecycle.
Requirements:
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or related field.Strong experience in hardware/software architecture within space, aerospace, defense, or other high‑integrity embedded environments.Background in space systems engineering, avionics, embedded platforms, onboard data handling, or flight software architecture.Solid knowledge of embedded systems, RTOS, firmware, low‑level drivers, and hardware/software co‑design.Experience with processor‑based architectures, digital electronics, FPGA/SoC platforms, and subsystem integration.Knowledge of ECSS standards, verification & validation, configuration management, and reliability engineering.Familiarity with fault tolerance, FDIR, redundancy concepts, and cybersecurity constraints.Excellent communication skills in English.
