Who We AreThe role is responsible for collaborating with solution architects and technical leads to perform both manual and automated testing for customer self‑service capabilities within the project. This includes validating backend application modules as well as the user interface of the web application. Automation Testing Skillsets: Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, API testing. Technology/Domain: Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, SOAP Web services, REST web services, Hibernate, Junit, JBOSS, Oracle, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, Karma, Jasmine, Python, Node.js, Hudson/Jenkins & other continuous integration tools, TDD, BDD, Linux, production infrastructure design, Agile/Kanban.What You'll Be Doing
Analyze requirements to understand new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for each release.Prepare test prerequisites, including mock data setup, pricing generation, and deployment validation.Perform manual testing by creating test cases, validating functionality, and logging defects with clear system analysis.Develop and maintain automation test scripts; run automated suites across environments and share reports.Support release management by organizing feature cards, coordinating with development teams, and determining SIT/UAT needs.Test and validate application functionality across multiple environments (DEV, QA, SIT, UAT, DEMO, Production).Provide SIT, UAT, DEMO, and Production support, including defect analysis, sanity checks, coordination with teams, and sign‑off processes.
What You'll Bring Along
BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field.Minimum 6 years in automation testing.Strong manual and automation testing skills.Experience with Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, and API testing.Ability to design and develop automation frameworks (PlayWright).Proficiency with GIT for code management.Solid SQL and database knowledge.Good to have: familiarity with JBoss, Rancher, Jenkins, and Docker.Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.Ability to deliver high‑quality testing under deadlines.Adaptable, quick learner, and able to multitask.Understanding of web‑based systems and agile methodologies.Effective communicator and collaborative team player.Detail‑oriented with strong ownership and follow‑through.
