Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of reliable, scalable, and user‐centric solutions that support thousands of employees and partner companies across Italy.Your Responsabilities Will BeYou will directly impact the quality, performance, and innovation of the systems that power Epassi's mission: enabling better everyday wellbeing through intuitive, secure, and modern technology. By bringing your expertise, curiosity, and ownership mindset, you will help us build the next generation of our platform while supporting the broader transformation toward a more modular, cloud‐based, future‐ready architecture.Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and modern architectural to the design and implementation of the AWS-based middleware (e.g., Lambda, ECS Fargate, SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS).Collaborate with the Salesforce and frontend teams to ensure smooth integration between backend systems and external secure, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern engineering practices.Participate in unit, integration, and load testing to ensure system stability and quality.Work closely with the global DevOps team on CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and deployment flows.3+ years of experience developing backend applications with Java, preferably using Spring Boot.Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems and API-driven design.Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB)Strong knowledge of REST API design, event-driven patterns, and integration best practices.Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL); Knowledge of ETL/data integration concepts; Basic understanding of Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.Strong foundation in software design principles, clean code, OOP, and secure coding practices.
