As an au pair in Italy, you will take on a role that requires a huge sense of responsibility. You will care for children and work for 30-40 hours per week. Your tasks range from teaching English to accompanying them to play dates. Previous experience in childcare or babysitting and a genuine fondness for children are required to qualify for this job. If you fit the criteria, be prepared to spend at least 2 months in a scenic location in Italy.

• Stay with a carefully chosen local family in Italy.
• Receive medical and accident insurance coverage (for US citizens), private room, full board, and stipend.
• Get the chance to explore much of Italy, especially its scenic countryside like Campo Imperatore and Puglia.

An au pair is an unmarried young adult aged 18 to 30 years, who has no children and travels to a foreign country for a defined period of time to live with a host family. The au pair is considered a full member of the family during the entire stay. However, the au pair is neither a housekeeper nor a nanny.

Au Pairs will receive a weekly stipend of USD80 to USD100 per week from the host family.
