Work location: Milan or Amsterdam with regular visits to Milan. Jobrapido will provide the accommodation and travel arrangements.
About the role and the mission
This is a strategic marketing leadership role which reports into the CEO. The incoming candidate will be expected to bring a high degree of strategic leadership to the marketing team and the company and manage board members and shareholders relations.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned manager with a multifunctional experience in different digital business. A background as a consultant could be a plus.
He/she will possess a comprehensive digital industry background, preferably in business of classified websites, and will be responsible for developing and executing Jobrapido’s marketing strategy aiming to accelerate the growth of our community maximizing its size, engagement, lifetime and overall ROI.
Leading a team of 20 marketers and online experts, he/she will join a top tier senior leadership team, to shape the future of the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The VP of Marketing will be responsible for:
- Managing entire marketing P&L, covering all channels (online and offline);
- Improving digital channel performance in particular on Paid Search and SEO. Optimising metrics such as ROI and RPV;
- Increasing brand awareness in core territories through PR, Events, Content and developing a meaningful connection with their community of users through relevant channels;
- Developing a deep understanding of B2B customers and users, improving customer centricity in ways of working;
- Working closely with product, sales and delivery teams to ensure messaging and proposition is compelling;
- Proactively and effectively contribute to the company business strategy and execution planning, in particular making part of the budgeting and forecasting processes as well as the definition of the Product roadmap;
- Act as a business owner of all the developments related to the area of marketing or requested cross-team projects;
- Strategically plan, estimate and ensure high quality execution of the marketing programs based on multi-channel digital techniques which include but are not limited to SEM, SEO, Display Advertising and Email Marketing;
- Be responsible for definition of the business logics related to our Email Marketing campaigns taking into account their main goals related to the user retention and re-activation as well as the campaigns monetization;
- Design and guide Jobrapido’s brand positioning and recognition as well as communication strategy towards B2C and B2B audience, overseeing the PR and Social Media initiatives driven by Product Marketing Team;
- Design and guide Jobrapido’s job contents strategy overseeing the initiatives driven by Jobs Team
- Serve as the primary marketing point of contact as necessary for outside agencies or consultants, setting and communicating clear direction and monitoring results.
Required Skills and Experience
- Solid experience gained in the strategical senior roles within digital industry, preferably in area of digital marketing, business intelligence or business development of a classified website
- Champion in understanding and designing effective conversion funnels and business logics supporting efficiency of marketing campaigns, in particular via email communications
- Knowledge of the digital channels of user acquisition and retention (paid, free, email)
- Inherent understanding of lifecycle marketing & audience targeting
- Strong leadership and experience in managing multicultural teams
- A test and learn approach, you naturally use data to drive decision making for campaigns and creative performance
- Great communicator, you have got strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
- Relevant education Minimum Degree level in business/engineering
- 10+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on online marketing
- Solid knowledge of SEM, SEO, Email marketing, Community management, Social Media, PR and branding.
- Experience in international environment and multimarket and multiproduct companies
- Fluent English mandatory, Italian very nice to have
