About the role
As Head of Content Marketing you will develop and oversee an integrated content strategy that encompasses channel selection and focus, editorial governance, and metrics to be applied and aligned with the business’s overall objectives. You will ensure that all the business’s narratives and message are in support of the content strategies and communication decisions you formulate along with the Marketing VP and key stakeholders.
You will manage a small team of specialists and be part of the dynamic Digital Marketing Team in Milano, which has a high-performance culture and consists of (young) dynamic, online specialists. You will report to the Marketing VP and have close interaction with different stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the creation of the editorial structure within the content specialist and PR agency in order to ensure that all content across the business is integrated and aligned to support business objectives.
- You will enable structured content creation through the implementation of models and processes for sourcing information, analyzing, and creating content.
- You will play an active role in research and in this capacity, you will formulate questionnaires and surveys, gathers information from key industry figures in an attempt to determine the validity of proposed topics and themes for the business’s content.
- You will conduct researches on the competitive environment and gather market data for the business and uses the results to come up with well-informed topics and themes for content creation.
- You will also oversee the management of the business’s brand standards and content style guides, as well as the overall expression of the business’s corporate identity in the content it puts out.
- You will also mentor and support team growth through the rising challenges and given objectives.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Degree in Marketing, public relations or related studies
- At least 7 years of experience in digital marketing
- Exceptional communications skills both written and verbal in at least English and Italian
- Being able to deliver in mid-structured environment
- It’s required a good analytical capability
- Being technology passionate and savvy is a must
- Team management and coaching capabilities
